⇔ Good Knock Nevin

The young budding sports star Master Nevin Paul of Mar Athanasius International School knocked a captivated century 111*(86) against Executive Academy Wayanad in All Kerala Executive Cup.

 


⇔ Congratulations to allrounder Master Nevin Paul for his brilliant performance against Baijus Cricket Academy. He scored 61 runs (42 balls) and took 4 wickets, gave 14 runs in 6 overs. He was also declared as the Man of the Match.

 

 

⇔ Mar Athanasius International School wins champion title

The 4th Mar Athanasius Championship took place from 17 Novemeber to 19 November 2022 in Mar Athanasius International School, Kothamangalam. Around 40 schools participated in 9 disciplines: Basketball, Badminton, Archery, Athletics, Shooting, Karate, Football, Cricket, Swimming. Mar Athanasius International School bagged the overall championship title with 40 points.
St. Peter's Senior Secondary School, Kadayiruppu was the second runner-up with 26 points. The champions were awarded a trophy with a cash prize of Rs. 25000/- while the first runner-up was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 20000/- and the second runner-up with Rs.15000/- respectively. Hearty Congratulations to the winners.


 

Gopika Sunil of grade XII bagged gold medal in shot put (Under 19 senior girls) with a new meet record, in CISCE National Athletics Meet 2022 held at Pune.
She was the individual champion in U- 19 girls CISCE Kerala Athletic Meet held at Trivandrum, She bagged gold medal in shot put, discuss throw and Hammer throw.
She has broken the district as well as state record in Under 18 women shot put and created a new meet record of 13.36m in Ernakulam District Athletic Championship 2022. Congratulations!

 

⇔ CISCE Regional Chess Competition

In the Regional level CISCE Chess Tournament held at Don Bosco Central School, Angamaly, Mar Athanasius International School emerged as Winner in U-19 Girls category, Runner-up in U-19 Boys, U-17 Girls, and U-14 Boys. 4 students from MAIS, Rayan Biju (U-14), Raina Anna Jithin (U-17), Teresa Paul and Nayana Shaji (U-19) have been selected for Nationals.

 


⇔ Kerala finished 4th in the U-14 National Cricket Tournament

Joshua Yeldo Aravind, Nevin Paul, Darrin Abraham Shemit, Aryan Eldho Jose of Mar Athanasius International School, Kothamangalam represented Kerala in the U-14 CISCE National Cricket Tournament at Hyderabad. Kerala won 3 consecutive matches against West Bengal, UAE, and Tamil Nadu with the high strike rate. With the tireless training from head coach Manu V.M (Mar Athanasius International School), Kerala finished fourth among the 12 regions. Mr. Arijith Basu, Head of Regional Coordinators appreciated Kerala Team for their best performance.



 

Ann Maria Gregie of Mar Athanasius International School, Kothamangalam won Bronze at CISCE National Archery competition, which was held at Lucknow for U-14 Recurve Girls. Hearty Congratulations to Ann Maria Gregie and coach Vishnu.

 

Rithika Tikins of Mar Athanasius International School, Kothamangalam won two Gold medals at CISCE National Archery competition, which was held at Lucknow for U-14 Girls Indian round 20m and 30m. Hearty Congratulations to Rithika and coach Vishnu.

 

⇔ MAISIAN Sara Sobin packs a punch with Bronze Medal at National Level Championship

Sara Sobin, a 10th grader of Mar Athanasius International School, bagged Bronze medal in National Level Karate Championship conducted by CISCE at Bangaluru.
