Sports is the celebration of the human spirit and youth, it not only inspires young minds but also teaches good values and ethics to young students. Mar Athanasius International School, celebrated its Annual Sports day-2023, on 10th February 2023 with great enthusiasm. The chief guest invited to the event was Shri. V A Moideen Naina IRS, Former Captain, Indian Volleyball team, recently retired as Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Cochin International Airport. The event had its grand opening with the hoisting of the School Flag and declaration of the Meet Open by Shri. V A Moideen Naina followed by the lighting of the Olympic Torch by the Chief Guest and hand over to the school athletes. The event opened with a glorious and well- synchronized March past of four Houses. Different games were organised for the students. They whole heartedly participated in the games.  At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
